One of our volunteer referees from last year is organizing basketball classes for the summer.  Her name is La Taunya Romanazzi.  You can find detailed information on La Taunya and her classes at  Go to “more options” on the web page and click on “summer”.

The program will take place at First Baptist Church of Montgomery. It is for ages 2, 3, 4, & 5 year olds as well as grades 1-6.  Classes are specific for the individual age groups and grades.  The last day of registration is May 20.

A quick word about Lay Taunya.  She is the mother of three with three grandchildren.  She played four years at Cal State University at Long Beach and graduated with a degree in physical education.  She was a three time Kodak Al American (1981, 1982, 1983).  She was a member of the 1980 U. S. Olympic team and played professionally in Europe for eight years.
